A really weird, yet amazing performance.

KR combines machines with real instruments in a subtle and rythmic suite, integrating noises, walls of distortion, massive bass lines, voices and field recordings.

The beauty of physical, human motion is that just about anything kinetic, any gesture can work. If you were left only with motion in your toes, you could play a live set. And whereas these gestures were once tied to specific acoustic instrumental effects, in the digital realm, they can be anything.

A guitar to replace all guitars? The ‘Kitara’ is an electronic synthesizer styled into the shape of a guitar. It looks extremely nifty and would be a very good piece of kit to have if and when producing/DJing live. This is yet, just another example that enforces the route that the music industry is taking to be a more ‘live performance’ demanding industry.
