Hello! My name is Ged Kirkham, currently living in Huddersfield, studying BSc Music Technology and Audio Systems degree at the University of Huddersfield. I am obsessed by everything creative and most of my time is consumed with everything audio!

My music taste is quite varied and I am constantly finding new tracks, much of which include songs from Tech House, Deep House, Dub Techno and Electronica genres. I am continually scouring for new tracks and my music collection is incessantly growing week on week.

As well as being an avid DJ, I also have an interest in the production and sound design side of the audio sector (film etc).

I currently DJ on CDJs, but I have been known to play on a set up consisting of Traktor Pro, alongside experimental projects including a mixture of Ableton Live and the APC40. When it comes to the saying – “laptop djs are not djs”, IMO, its about what is coming out of the speakers, rather than what the DJ is doing. I currently prefer to mix on CDJ’s as I find it a lot more fun and involving.

I am currently slowly building up my music collection as well as creating short experimental music projects which include sound design for film, as well as music production.
